Guatemuc in Munich

Food was very good. But it's no use to me if the staff is unfriendly.

Nicely decorated (lots of plants, jungle feeling) but else than that: overpriced, semi-authentic food. Do not recommend.

The food was so salty, it was terrible.

Drinks okay, food unfortunately inedible. We had three different dishes: the salad, lasagna and the burrito. Such bad Mexican food was previously unknown to me. The waitress didn't seem very interested in it either. Never again.

Authentic atmosphere, good food and dear employees. Even if it is full, the employees try hard to find a place for you. The food is true to the original and very delicious. The prices fit into the budget.

Nothing is good in this restaurant! Too pricey too small menu and no taste!

The restaurant is nicely decorated; the seating is not very comfortable. The service was friendly, but did not ask us, for example, if it tasted. Otherwise we could have told her that the salad (corn, avocado) was nothing at all (too sour, too boring) and the tacos far too small for the price. The meat in the tacos was estimated to be a maximum of 120g.

I was eating here with a friend before a concert. The restaurant is quite small, but very comfortable and well furnished. We ordered both tacos, once normal with minced meat and once vegetarian (you just have to ask the nice waiter). The food was delicious and the price was reasonable, only the drinks were a bit too expensive for my taste.

The food never came, drinks took one hour, the waiters extremely unfriendly and aggressive once we complained about the bad service. Never again!

Great cafe and restaurant with a very nice decor. I also liked the quiet Spanish music. Food and drinks (especially those from Guatemala) were delicious.

Top Cocktails.

We were two in the early evening in Guatemuc. After a friendly welcome we chose hibiscus tea (super delicious), vegan chili and tacos. Everything tasted great and the fresh chillies brought the desired sharpness. The ambience is consistent, provided with many loving details. We liked it all around, also because of the courteous service.

We had dinner here in the Tonhalle before the beginning of a concert. Very nice restaurant with good food. Highly recommended was the vegan chilli (and quite spicy it was, but it was just a chili 😉) We'll be back!

Delicious food in a nice atmosphere!

It is obvious that they spent a lot of effort on the decoration. The theme is about Guatemala and it is well done. Nevertheless, the service was not that friendly and the drinks were pricy!

Really liked this place. I had a great lunch and will come again. Tasty food and an interior that is really well done... Lots of colour and greenery.

Great for Guatemalan tastes! Visited it one lunchtime, ate on the decking out front under the trees (occasionally getting blossom in meals!). Enjoyed the beer (they do a Radler, a mix of beer and lemonade, like a "shandy", and a Russen - same but with Weissbier) and the food - the chicken-based chilli was great, quite fiery but strong. I ate there twice; I'll happily go back when I'm in the area, the meals were a lovely lunchtime treat!

Decoration of this place was very nice and appealing. The coffee was also very nice. However... The service was very disappointing. Very slow and not friendly. Prices are too high for what you get and what you have to wait for ordering, getting, paying... Drinks specialties and the cake were extremely sweetened. Not coming back.

Insanely great authentic shop. Decorated with love. Service (possibly owner?) Was very nice. There are specialties from Guatemala. Drinks were good. The next time we will bring more time and also try the food.

Salted and twice the wrong food brought. If you order vegan you should not try to dish up meat and try sour cream on the vegan chilli the second time. No apology. Absolute impudence!

Very friendly staff and delicious but strong cocktails. Great great restaurant which has a great decko and owns its own flair. The menu is not big but the food was all the more delicious. Clear recommendation!

Only Guatemalan restaurant in town. As close as it gets... There is nevertheless still potential. They need more authentic meals and more staff. Still it is worth the try and ambiance is wonderful.

A cute little escape from Munich, it really feels like you have been transported somewhere else. Great breakfast options with avocado toast and eggs, very good coffee and a chilled out atmosphere.

Cool ambience, good food, nice staff and good coffee. Almost like on vacation.

We were there in the afternoon for breakfast. The decor was very nice, atmospheric. Coffee was very good for breakfast, baked banana slices, avocado, cheese and the rest were tasty, although the banana suited me on average. The breakfast set costs 8.5 euros. The place is located next to the Guatemalan consulate from here and a pub in this climate. There is construction going on around the facility so I recommend eating inside.
